I happened by because I saw your DREAMY mouse on foodgawker and had to click, especially because the teaser mentioned that the recipe is paleo. Then I started reading and I want to say CONGRATS! I can’t wait to buy your cook book!

Oh my God, you just blew my mind.
We moved to Brazil a few years back and found ourselves with a medium sized advocado tree.
It means twice a year we get a mountain of this beautiful fruit, far more than we know what to do with.

I actually found this page looking for new recipes, and this looks like a winner and a sure fire way to get the kids to partake too.

Thanks for the recipe Elizabeth, we can’t wait to try it.

PS. ever tried drinking advocado smoothie? no need for banana and it’s great with a twist of lemon ;)

Although I have tried avocado smoothies before, it was always with bananas…so I will have one today Enrico!

absolutely in love with recipe. My four year old and I salivated over the chocolate avocado mousse photography for about a week. Finally whipped it up for dessert yesterday. The recipe is absolutely perfect and I felt okay about letting him again have this dessert for the early snack today. Definitely bringing a few batches to the next summer gathering. Thank you! And, congrats on the book deal!!

Great recipe. Takes more like 30 minutes. But maybe once you have all the ingredients at hand and have experience, perhaps you could do it in 15.

This has been making the rounds on Facebook. Any suggestions on what one could substitute the coffee with so I don’t give my gluten free 4 year old the caffeine?

Hi Brenda! Feel free to leave it out, use decaf or just use extra cocoa powder.
