Chocolate Chia Energy Balls

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup dates pitted and soaked for 3 hours
  • ¼ cup agave nectar or honey
  • 3 Tbsp chia seeds ground
  • ¼ cup hemp hearts
  • 2 scoops chocolate protein powder I used VEGA one
  • 3 Tbsp dried blueberries
  • ½ cup crunchy peanut butter or almond butter
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp cocoa
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • pinch of sea salt
  • 2 Tbsp cacao nibs
  • ¾ cup rolled oats

Method
 

  1. In the bowl of a food processor, add all the ingredients except the cacao nibs and the oats. Blend until a paste is formed and everything is evenly chopped up/distributed.
  2. Scrape the paste into a bowl and stir in the oats and cacao nibs. You may have to get your hands in there and knead it like a dough.
  3. Roll in tbsp sized balls.
  4. Refrigerate.
